At William Brooks Elementary School, the spirit of fall came alive as students gathered for a joyous garden adventure during the Fall Harvest Event.
Under the guidance of teachers and volunteers, the children set to work harvesting the bounty of the season. From plump pumpkins to crisp apples, the garden was bursting with fall favorites just waiting to be picked.
As they worked, the children learned about the importance of the fall harvest and the role it plays in providing nourishing food for their community. They discovered the life cycle of plants, from seed to harvest, and gained a deeper appreciation for the hard work and dedication of farmers who grow our food.
With baskets overflowing with fresh produce, the children gathered around to admire their harvest. From juicy tomatoes and crunchy carrots to sweet potatoes and colorful squash, the garden was a cornucopia of fall delights.
The Fall Harvest Event at William Brooks Elementary was a celebration of nature’s bounty and a reminder of the joys of working together to nourish our bodies and our community.
