William Brooks: Easter Garden Event

Exploring the Easter Bunny’s Favorite Foods: Kids Easter Garden Event at William Brooks

At William Brooks Elementary, children recently celebrated the Easter season with a special Kids Easter Garden Event, where they discovered the delights of gardening and learned about the vegetables that the Easter Bunny loves to eat.

The event, held in the school’s charming garden space, was filled with laughter and excitement as the children eagerly participated in various activities. With colorful Easter decorations adorning the garden beds, they embarked on a fun-filled journey of exploration.

One of the highlights of the event was learning about carrots, a favorite treat of the Easter Bunny! The children discovered how to plant and care for carrots, marveling at their vibrant colors and sweet taste. They eagerly dug into the soil, planting rows of carrot seeds and imagining the Easter Bunny’s delight when he nibbled on their homegrown treats.

In addition to carrots, the children also explored other vegetables that the Easter Bunny might enjoy, such as crisp lettuce, crunchy radishes, and juicy strawberries. They learned about the importance of healthy eating and the joy of growing their own food, connecting with nature in a meaningful way.

As the event came to a close, the children left the garden with smiles on their faces and baskets full of freshly picked vegetables. The Kids Easter Garden Event at William Brooks Elementary was a wonderful opportunity for children to celebrate the Easter season, learn about gardening, and discover the delicious foods that bring joy to the Easter Bunny’s heart.
